Our Silver Tier package offers 5 days and 4 nights in Bristol, each packed with trips, activities and sights to see.
Upon arrival in Bristol, you will explore one of the most beautiful parts of Bristol, Clifton Village. It has gorgeous archictecture, and closeby is the home of the Lord Mayor of Bristol and traditional Victorian mansion – Clifton Mansion. After this, you will see the Clifton Suspension Bridge, an amazing bridge designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, one of the most prominent figures in engineering.
This is your chance to explore the Centre of Bristol, including the Bristol Harbour, Park Street, Broadmead and Cabot Circus. The Harbour is a lovely area, which hosts many bars, restaurants and brilliant photo opportunities. Park Street is full of life during the day and night; including many clothes and arty stores by day, and turning into a hub of bars and clubs at night! Furthermore, the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery is very closeby, where you can explore history, art, nature and science, along with temporary art exhibitions. Broadmead and Cabot Circus are Bristol’s main shopping quarter, where you can find a wide range of clothing and shoe stores.
According to Street Art 360, Bristol is “the capital of street art in Europe”, meaning that just by walking through Bristol, you will spot some beautiful artwork on the side of the street. In fact, Banksy, the most famous graffiti artist in the world, is from Bristol. For this reason, a lot of his earlier work can is around Bristol. There is another beautiful, old-fashioned part of Bristol, which has some very old parts, namely The Llandoger Trow pub. This pub is said to have been the pub where Daniel Defoe met the person who became his inspiration for Robinson Crusoe. Additionally, it is the pub that inspired Robert Louis Stevenson for the inn from Treasure Island.
Following this, you will have a choice of either visiting the SS Great Britain, or having a delicious meal at Za Za Bazaar. The SS Great Britain played an important role throughout history. It was a passenger steamship between Bristol and New York, and was also designed by Brunel. Now, it is an interactive museum ship. Za Za Bazaar is an international buffet restaurant which has food options from all over the world for a very reasonable price. It is located on the Bristol Harbour.
On the fourth day, you will travel to Bath, a unique and beautiful city located around 11 miles from Bristol. It is world-renowned for its gorgeous architecture and rich history, and therefore named a World Heritage site, meaning it is legally protected due to its historical and cultural significance. While in Bath, you can see various beautiful attractions, including the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, The Circus and many more. After returning to Bristol, you will visit the Royal York Crescent, one of the most expensive streets in Bristol.
Depending on the time of your flight departure, you may or may not be able to visit the M Shed Museum. This is a museum about Bristol’s history, people and culture, and located in the Centre of Bristol.
How much does it cost?
The entire trip will be fully customisable to suit you and your group. For this package, the cost is £300 per person in a group of 15 people or more.
